Eugene Shysh is a Denturist at Alberta Dentures with a strong background in prosthodontics and restorative care. Originally educated and licensed as a dentist in Ukraine, he completed a hospital-based internship and gained extensive experience in restorative and prosthetic dentistry, including complex rehabilitation and full-mouth restoration cases. His diverse clinical experience has given him a comprehensive understanding of oral health, function, and patient-centered treatment planning.


After relocating to Canada, Eugene chose to focus his career on denture care, combining his clinical knowledge with a passion for restoring comfort, function, and confidence. His understanding of oral anatomy, bite dynamics, and treatment planning helps him create personalized denture treatments tailored to each patient's unique needs. Known for his thoughtful approach and attention to detail, Eugene works closely with patients to help them achieve comfortable, functional, and natural-looking results that support their long-term quality of life.

    Before becoming a Denturist in Canada, Eugene worked in a regional hospital's Department of Prosthodontics, where he focused on restorative treatments and full-mouth rehabilitation. This experience provided him with valuable insight into complex oral health conditions and patient-centred treatment planning.

    Eugene is dedicated to lifelong learning and regularly participates in continuing education courses, workshops, and professional symposiums. By staying current with advancements in prosthodontics and denture fabrication, he helps ensure patients benefit from modern techniques and high-quality care.

    Outside of work, Eugene enjoys staying active through pickleball and tennis. He also enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends, often exploring hiking trails and mountain landscapes throughout Alberta.
